Allyn is working with Christian graduate students and faculty at the University of Florida in Gainesville , FL. By encouraging and training a new generation of graduates and Christian faculty to conduct their work from an informed Christian worldview, the intellectual atmosphere on campus can be changed into one in which Christian thought and ideas are once again a respectable and plausible alternative to what is being taught currently, removing a major hurdle to the Gospel being embraced.

Allyn, who was raised in Idaho Falls , holds degrees in political science from Idaho State University and Villanova University , and a MA in philosophy from Talbot School of Theology, and one year of Ph.D. studies in philosophy from the University of Nebraska . Traci holds a degree in biology from Duke University . Allyn and Traci have three daughters, Rachel, Taylor and Emma.
