This class will provide accurate information about Islam and the challenge it presents to the spread of the gospel.
09:30 am, Lies Women Believe and the Truth that Sets Them Free, Annette McCubbin, 9/28-12/14, Room A7 A class for women based on this insightful book by Nancy Leigh DeMoss. We'll discuss lies that women believe about themselves, sin, their marriages, their emotions, their circumstances. DeMoss emphasizes God's truth, the Word, as the means by which we can be set free to walk in grace, forgiveness and the abundant life. 11:00 am, From Christ to Constantine: the Earliest Christians, Rick Lum, 9/28- 12/14, Room A1 We're going to try to answer some questions like: How did we get our New Testament? What about all of those other Gospels? How did early Christians worship? How and why did Christianity spread so rapidly? Who led the church after the apostles? What about early Christians who died for their faith? Reference material for class.
