Elder’s Journal
May 2006 Summary
The elders met four times in May 2006 for their regularly scheduled meetings. Every regular meeting begins with a devotional followed by prayer for specific needs in the body of CCC. Administrative issues requiring frequent monitoring and action are typically the first order of business after the devotion and prayer time. A summary of key issues discussed in May, is found below:
- The Senior Pastor Search Team information page was posted on the CCC web page. The page contains information for prospective candidates and will frequently be updated to relay status to the CCC body.
- A welcome potluck for Rich and Marti Carlson was planned for June 4. The elders will also use the opportunity to communicate information to the body. The Prayer Team will also utilize the time for prayer for CCC needs.
- A Ministry Team fair was discussed and planned for the fall. Rick Lum and Rich Carlson will coordinate the planning efforts.
- Ministry team budgets were discussed in light of the first quarter financial report. The elders agreed to utilize the opportunities presented by the discussion to contact their respective ministry team leaders and plan for the upcoming summer activities.
