Supporting Local Ministries |

Since no church can independently meet every need in their community, it makes sense for Christ Community Church to support and encourage like-minded local ministries who are reaching out to others in the name of Christ. The Samaritan Team does this by providing monthly financial support to the following local ministries:
THE CITY OF REFUGE
The City of Refuge men’s homeless shelter is an evangelical outreach to homeless men. This ministry provides men lodging and meals, as well as clothing, support, and guidance. This ministry also provides food boxes to the needy from their surplus pantry goods, and opens their dinner meal to the public, providing additional outreaches to the poor. Residents who are working toward constructive goals are welcome to stay up to three months. Director: Robert Gulden

SHEPHERD’S INN
The Shepherd’s Inn is a Christian maternity home, which provides housing to pregnant women (ages 18-26) throughout a crisis pregnancy. Through support and individual counseling each resident develops a parenting plan for her unborn child.
