Friendship Team: The mission of the Friendship Team is to plan, organize, and conduct a variety of social events throughout the year. Those activities are designed to provide opportunities for: a) establishing new relationships, b) strengthening existing relationships, and c) enhancing familiarity with others at CCC through interaction and shared experiences.
The Friendship Team plans events and routine service functions at the beginning of each year. The Team tries to hold at least one quarterly event as resources allow, as well as provide service functions (e.g., Name Tag Sunday, Coffee Service, Cookie Service, stocking the kitchen, etc) on a routine basis. Although the types of events held each year may change, some activities have been found to be largely popular and are typically repeated every year as resources allow. Social events used as ministry tools by the Friendship Team have included campouts, picnics, bowling, family game night, bike rides, family dinners, church potlucks, day hikes, skiing, etc. If you have organization skills, like to plan social functions both indoors and outdoors, or simply would like to participate in and help pull off a fun event like a picnic or a campout, please call Friendship Team Leader Randy Rice or Bob Fox who is the current elder who supports the Friendship Team.
